PerkBoard Terms of Use
Effective November 1, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Cloudplexit LLC ("we", "us"), which builds and hosts PerkBoard, and they also protect your property, which offers the board to its residents. Checking the box at registration means you agree to them and to the Privacy Notice.
Who can use PerkBoard
You must be 18 or older and a current resident of the property: a lease holder or an adult occupant. By registering, you confirm that is true. If you move out, your account ends.
Your account and signing in
You register with your name, email address and unit number. There is no password. Each time you sign in, we email you a link that works once and expires in 15 minutes. Anyone who can open your email can sign in as you, so keep it secure, and tell the office if you think someone else has used your account.
One account per person; keep your details current.
The office runs the program
Your property's office approves each registration and may decline or remove an account, for example when a registration does not match a unit, a resident moves out, or these terms are broken. We act on the office's instructions about accounts. Questions about the program, approvals and events go to the office.
Perks belong to the merchants
Each perk is offered and honored by the business that gives it, not by your property or us. The board shows a perk as the office entered it. The business sets the conditions, may change or end a perk at any time, and may decline an offer that is out of date. Neither your property nor we are a party to any purchase you make, and neither guarantees a perk, a price, or the goods or services behind it.
Perk codes and coupons
Perk codes are for you and for members of your household the office has approved. Do not share a code outside your home, post it publicly, sell it, or use it after you move out. Some perks are coupons with a claim limit; unless the coupon says otherwise, each resident may claim it once. Misuse can get your account removed and a perk withdrawn for everyone.
Events
Events on the board are posted by your property or a business, not by us. Details can change, so check the post before you go. Any rules for an event, such as an age requirement where alcohol is served, are set by whoever runs it.
Reporting a problem with a perk
"Trouble using this perk?" sends the office a message with your name, unit, email address, the business, and any note you add. Be accurate and courteous; the office may share your note with the business. This tells the office; it is not a refund or dispute service.
The neighbor wall, where your board offers it
Some boards let residents post a card about themselves or their own small business. A card appears only after you agree to show it and the office approves it.
What you post is yours, and you are responsible for it. It must be about you or your own business, truthful and legal. Do not post advertising for anyone else, anything that harasses or discriminates, sexual content, anyone else's personal information, or anything that infringes someone's rights.
You give us and your property permission to show your card on the board for as long as it is posted. The office may edit or remove a card at any time, and you can take yours down from your account page.
Acceptable use
Do not use PerkBoard if you are not eligible. Do not try to get into another account or the office's tools, copy the board automatically, interfere with the service, impersonate anyone, or upload anything harmful. Do not use the board for anything unlawful or discriminatory. We and the office may suspend or remove an account that breaks these rules.
No warranties
PerkBoard is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we and your property make no warranties about the board, the perks, the businesses listed or the events posted, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, or that the board will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
PerkBoard is free to residents. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you connected with PerkBoard is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us, which is nothing. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for the acts of a business, your property or another resident.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we post the new version in the app with a new effective date, and email you before a material change takes effect. Using the board after a change means you accept it. If you do not agree, ask the office to remove your account.
Ending your account
You can leave at any time by asking the office or emailing us. The office removes accounts when residents move out. What happens to your information afterwards is in the Privacy Notice.
Governing law
Florida law governs these terms. Any dispute will be heard in the state or federal courts in Orange County, Florida.
